Welcome to Your
Journey in Learning
The Pine Haven Homeschool Enrichment Program, based in Elbert County, Colorado, is a warm and welcoming community where families come together to share the joy of learning and the beauty of home education. Our hybrid program blends the flexibility of homeschooling with the connection and collaboration of group learning—offering academic enrichment, hands-on projects, and fellowship for students of all ages. Led by experienced instructors and dedicated parents, Pine Haven provides a supportive environment that nurtures curiosity, character, and confidence. Families find encouragement, structure, and friendship while students grow in wisdom and wonder. Together, we cultivate hearts and minds through meaningful learning and authentic community.
Our approach honors the classical model, building on strong academic foundations in language, math, history, science, and the arts. However, classical does not mean passive. At Pine Haven, learning is active, joyful, and deeply engaging. Students interact with ideas through projects, experiments, nature study, art, games, movement, and creative expression. We believe children learn best when they can touch, explore, build, and experience the concepts being taught.
We supply curriculum, monthly pacing guides and weekly lesson plans, giving parents clear direction while preserving full flexibility in their daily homeschool schedule. Our in-class instruction centers on monthly concepts rather than rigid lesson sequences. This model nurtures character, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning through a strong partnership between teachers and parents.
We know that thriving homeschool days begin at home and strive to support you on your homeschooling journey. Therefore we provide homeschool consultant services within our program. Our trained homeschool consultant partners with parents to design effective learning spaces, build sustainable daily rhythms, and offers guidance that brings clarity, confidence, and joy to your homeschool journey. Group and individual consultations will be available for parents.
One full day is publicly funded and rooted in classical academics and engaging activities while a second full day is also available and is tuition and faith-based, continuing the same classical and engaging approach.
*For those interested in two full days of learning, families can opt into the second full day option for an annual fee of $1800 for the '26/'27 school year. Sibling discounts, as well as scholarships, are available. Registration for the ‘26/’27 school year will open February 1, 2026.
